  • What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a system of healthcare that releases serious stress from your body: the vertical subluxation complex.

A subluxation, bone out of place, is an often painless, tiny spinal distortion that can affect your nerves, muscles, internal organs, discs, bones, brain function, posture and overall health.

  • What are common problems chiropractors address?

Chiropractic care can address many of the bodies ailments, such as:

    • headaches
    • migraines
    • lower back pain
    • ear infections
    • scoliosis
    • neck injuries
    • pinched nerves
    • carpal tunnel
    • whiplash
    • discs
    • plantar faciitis
    • pregnancies
    • feet, ankle and hip problems
  • How does a chiropractor differ from a medical doctor?

Medical doctors are very successful at repairing damage to the human body and saving lives, but trauma cases represent only a small percentage of all health problems.

The majority of health problems are treated by Medical doctors with drugs, which is a major cause of our health crisis. Americans consume over half of all of the drugs in the world!

Drugs work by suppressing or masking natural bodily functions which temporarily relieves the discomfort of the symptom, but no healing occurs and the problem remains. Healing only occurs from within the body.

Chiropractic is the world's largest, drugless healing system. Every function of the human body is under control of the nervous system. Every organ, tissue and cell is controlled by nerve impulses traveling from the brain to the rest of the body through the spinal cord. When the spine is in an optimum position, the nerves are protected and optimum communication exists between the brain and the rest of the body.

Chiropractors detect and correct subluxations by physically adjusting the spine. This allows the body to function at an optimum level, safely and naturally.

  • What about insurance?

Most insurances cover chiropractic care to some degree. We are a provider for all major insurances and will call to verify all chiropractic insurance benefits. If we are not a provider, we will take every step necessary to become one.

Your health insurance plan will determine how many office visits you receive. Our office policy is that if we ever have any problems with your insurance, we will let you know immediately and ask for your help to resolve the matter.

On co-pays, most can be found on the insurance card under office visit.

  • What about treatment for car and on the job accidents?

Accident victims often continue to suffer pain, weakness and disability for months, years or decades after an accident. You should see a chiropractor for an adjustment to your spinal column and potential nerve damage.

Generally, auto insurance and workman's comp pay for chiropractic care.

  • Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No, Today's Chiropractic has no long-term contracts. You are given a treatment plan that will work with your schedule.
